Timothy and Amanda Baggett are the husband-and-wife leadership team behind Amerus Financial, serving individuals, families, and business owners with trusted insurance guidance and long-term coverage solutions. With over 25 years of industry experience, Timothy is known for deep product knowledge, integrity, and a consultative approach that helps clients make confident, informed decisions.
Amanda brings over 15 years as a licensed insurance agent and serves as the agency’s Operations Director, overseeing backend support, internal processes, and client coordination to ensure every policy is handled accurately and every client receives timely support. Her organization, reliability, and attention to detail help keep the agency running efficiently and professionally.
Together, Timothy and Amanda lead Amerus Financial with a family-first philosophy and a commitment to service. Beyond the business, Timothy has served in ministry for over 30 years and pastors a local church in Lakeland, Florida, reflecting their shared dedication to leadership, care, and community.
Leah Dugger
Client Services Manager | Licensed Insurance Agent
Leah Dugger serves as the Client Services Manager at Amerus Financial and is dedicated to making sure every client receives the attention, care, and follow-through they deserve. As a licensed insurance agent, Leah specializes in resolving client concerns, navigating policy questions, and ensuring issues are handled promptly and correctly.
Leah is known for her professionalism, problem-solving skills, and compassionate approach. She is also a wife and mother who strongly believes in the importance of family and timely, dependable service.
Outside of work, Leah leads worship at her church and is actively involved alongside her husband, Curtis, in youth ministry — reflecting her heart for service both professionally and personally.
Abigail Baggett
Group Insurance Specialist
Abigail Baggett is our Group Insurance Specialist, bringing extensive knowledge and experience in business and group insurance solutions. She works with groups of all sizes, helping employers navigate coverage options with clarity and confidence.
Abigail is known for her friendly personality, professionalism, and strong understanding of complex group plans. Clients appreciate her ability to communicate clearly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Outside the office, Abigail enjoys traveling, staying active in sports, and serves as a drummer at her church — bringing both energy and discipline into everything she does.
Hannah Baggett
Customer Service Representative
Hannah Baggett is a valued member of our Customer Service team, known for being exceptionally friendly, responsive, and caring. She takes pride in helping clients get their questions answered and problems resolved with patience and kindness.
Hannah values relationships and believes strongly in the power of genuine care. Her attentiveness and conscientious approach ensure that clients feel heard and supported throughout their experience with Amerus Financial.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys movies, outings with friends, and building meaningful connections.
Caroline Williams

Caroline Williams specializes in Property & Casualty insurance, helping businesses secure proper commercial coverage including auto, general liability, workers’ compensation, and related protections.
